This advance coating thickness meter with 0 to 1250μm (0 to 50 mil) wide measuring range for automotive and painting applications. Its a top quality rugged meter that uses magnetic induction & eddy current principle to measure thickness of magnetic and non-magnetic surface and detect the thickness of nonmagnetic coating on a magnetic substrate (ferrous, F) or an insulating coating on a non-magnetic conductive substrate (non-ferrous, NF).

It has built-in NF (NFe) probe used in procedure turbulence current test and F (Fe) that uses magnet inductive. It carries out fast and accurate results. Plus, you have the option to connect the meter to the computer to collect and retrieve the Measured Data through optional software and cables (not included in the set). 

It’s usage of Microcomputer LSI circuit advanced microprocessor technology and crystal time base guarantees that measurement has the highest level of accuracy with fast measuring time. 

In addition, you have the option to measure either by single or continuous mode, automatically switches from NF to F mode and vice versa, stores 99 groups of measurements, Max / Min / Ave, backlight and large LCD screen.

• F Probe measures the thickness of non-magnetic materials such as paint, plastic porcelain enamel, copper, zinc, aluminium, chrome on magnetic materials such as iron, nickel etc. It is often used to measure the thickness of a galvanizing layer, lacquer layer, porcelain enamel layer, phosphide layer, copper tile, aluminium tile, some alloy tile and paper
• NF Probe measures the thickness of non-magnetic coatings on non-magnetic metals. It is used on anodizing, varnish, paint, enamel, plastic coatings, powder applied to aluminium, brass and non-magnetic stainless steel etc
