The Leeb’s Hardness Tester (Functional Type) measures the hardness of materials in terms of Hardness Leeb (HL), which can be converted into other hardness units such as Rockwell B and C, Vicker, Brinell, and Shore D. This versatile tester is ideal for a variety of applications, including inspecting die cavities of molds, bearings, and other mass-produced parts, conducting failure analysis of pressure vessels and steam generators, and testing the surfaces of small hollow spaces. It is also suitable for material identification in warehouses and rapid testing over large areas of large-scale workpieces.
