This refractometer is specially designed to test the concentration of battery fluids, antifreeze liquids, and cleaning fluids. Equipped with a °C unit system, it features four scales to measure the freezing points of different fluids, including propylene glycol, ethylene glycol, and cleaning fluids. By indicating the percentage of concentration, this tool helps you determine the temperature (°C) at which each fluid will freeze.

Additionally, the refractometer can be used to check the strength of electrolyte solution batteries in terms of Specific Gravity (sg). Specific gravity is the ratio of the density of a given liquid to the density of water at a specific temperature and pressure. The refractometer includes Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) to automatically adjust for temperature discrepancies in the environment.
